Foundation Staff Recognized With Change Agent Award
Dr. Antonia Richburg was awarded the Change Agent Award of the Other Voices program in early May. The award recognizes outstanding leadership in Greensboro, primarily focused on the commitment to diversity.
This prestigious award is presented to Other Voices alumni, Chamber members and others from the community at large who demonstrate exemplary leadership, positively affecting the cultural diversity and inclusiveness of the citizens and community of Greensboro. The award is not based on the recipient’s views, position, organization or the environment within which the recipients demonstrate outstanding leadership. Candidates who serve out of a personal mission, who are inclusive, who are process facilitators, who empower others, who understand and use the power of vision, and who are change agents are considered.
Antonia has been part of the Foundation staff for 20 years and has responsibility for the Foundation’s Access to Care and Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders program areas.
Dr. Richburg joins current and past Cone Health Foundation Board members as a recipient of the Change Agent Award: Dr. Margaret Arbuckle, current Board Chair and a Founding Member of Other Voices; Nettie Coad (deceased); Steve Sumerford, along with Addy and Paul Jeffrey.
