Supporting Current Grantees with Continued Funding

CHF Current GranteesA few of the grantees Cone Health Foundation
is honored to continue supporting.

In March, CHF's Board approved an unprecedented seventh year of support for current grantees. A rebounding economy is predicted to be far from equitable especially for women and people of color. The Board’s decision will support grantees to weather the Covid pandemic, which has had a devastating and disproportionate impact on communities of color and low-income people who were already struggling.

While multiyear grantmaking is not new for CHF, seven years in a row is something we are proud to be doing. We believe that multiyear grantmaking is an industry best practice in order to support organizations that know how to achieve health equity. Creating this stability is one way we can be good partners to grantees. This relational approach to philanthropy defines our Foundation and is critical to our collective success.

As funders, we are honored to play a role in advancing our grantees' missions. We are proud to support the following grantees with another funding cycle in their pursuit of a healthier Greensboro:

Access to Health Care

Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention

HIV

Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders

Other Initiatives and Community Collaborations
